ModulArena – Coming Soon!

Dscaff Group to launch new modular stadium concept. ModulArena concept will soon be a completely new approach to sports stadium design.

A new design complying with International Standards. The essence of ModulArena concept is that the stadium complies with the requirements for permanent use, but still is fully reusable and transportable. ModulArena stadium is fully compatible with FIFA requirements for stadiums, and offers generous view of the playing field sometimes exceeding these requirements. It is high weathering and corrosion resistant, non-flammable, resistant to vandalism.

Versatility, flexibility ModulArena concept can be used for everything from complete stadiums to small stands. Individual elements are used for modular construction, making it possible to enlarge or downsize even after actual completion. The structure remains flexible, and when necessary, can be adapted to new requirements with minimal effort – for instance, when a football club advances to the next highest league. Even though ModulArena stadiums are usually built for permanent, long-term use, they still unite the many advantages offered by temporary construction, because they are quickly and cost-efficiently built with prefabricated modules requiring low maintenance cost. ModulArena provides Design, fabrication and installation from a single source. ModulArena concept also changes the financing options for a stadium. There is no more need for investment in a permanent site, but instead in a reusable product with a clear residual value.

Nowadays, stadium construction project shall only be fully accepted when they consider sustainability This new approach to building stadium delivers a higher constant quality while also attending to relevant sustainability aspects. ModulArena stadium is a completely prefabricated system (IBS) where all components are manufactured in a controlled factory environment which ensures consistent quality and eliminates on site fabrication.Ground works are minimized as the multiple legs spread the load evenly, requiring only a light weight concrete footing to support the structure. The result is minimum wastage during pre-fabrication, no wastage on site during construction, and minimal impact on existing environment. ModulArena stadium is made of 100% recycled materials.

Eco Friendly Products- Climate change

Dscaff Eco Friendly Products can minimise the use of timber items

SBS Plastic Panel

Traditional formwork uses a large quantity of plywood, most of which can only be reused three times before it degrades Higher quality plywood can be used around twenty times but is very expensive. In Asia and many parts of the world the manufacture of plywood is unsustainable, and can only be made by destroying virgin rain forest. As countries pledge to save rain forest, and introduce IBS , and green rating systems into the construction industry, Dscaff chose a plastic based solution to reduce timber usage in construction industry

Non slip Metal Deck

Non-Slip Metal Board

Many industrial service market uses timber walking boards for new build projects. Dscaff have designed a new metal walking platform with superior non-slip properties to replace laminated timber platforms

Earth Day 2017 – Recyclable Products from Dscaff

Its widely acknowledged that the human race is having a significant and harmful impact on our planet. At government level, we have signed climate accord treaties, and at the commercial level we have greatly reduced the cost of producing renewable energy. However, there is still a lot to be achieved.
The increase in human population and infrastructural developments are threatening to all of the earth’s natural resources. We need to conserve our resources in one hand while developing in the other.

At Dscaff we believe that every company needs to study its environmental impact and use technology and creative thinking to reduce any harmful impacts in their industry. When doing so it’s important to make the changes commercially viable so that the new technology is embraced by the markets they serve.

Dscaff Fall Prevention Screen

Dscaff have launched two new products since Earth Day 2016, which we believe will significantly reduce the use of timber plywood and laminates. A significant amount of rain forest is destroyed each year in Asia to produce low quality plywood, which is used for formwork. This ply is reused between 1 to 4 times before it degrades and is sent to landfill. Dscaff have launched a structural plastic formwork panel system which can be reused between 100 – 300 times, after which the panel can be 100% recycled. Unlike steel or plywood, plastic does not require release oil or similar chemicals to be applied to the formwork before each reuse.

Dscaff have designed a new metal walking platform with superior non-slip properties to replace laminated timber platforms for use in Australia, this product is lighter, stronger, and safer. It also has a much longer lifespan requiring less maintenance and again can be recycled after completion of its useful life span.

Use of reusable and recyclable materials was one of the key performance indicators (KPI’S)  in the development of our safety systems. Currently the rate of recyclable material used in our systems is 100%, significantly reducing the use of raw materials and hence the impact on our global resources.
